STOP THE SPLITS

Ever heard of trichoptilosis? It’s trichologist speak for ‘split ends’ when strands well, split at the ends, giving that unsightly feathery effect. The best defence against split ends is to trim and prevent.


The only way to get rid of unsightly split ends is to cut it. But never do it on your own – you’ll risk looking like a badly pruned shrub. Be sure to go to a professional hairstylist and get it trimmed neatly once every two months.


Hair is most prone to splitting when brushed right after washing as that’s when it’s most vulnerable. Instead, use a wide-toothed comb as it will not put on as much tension on your hair as a brush would.


Styling tools such as blow-dryers, hot curler, curling irons and flat irons should be used sparingly as the intense heat dries up the hair cuticles thus making it more susceptible to breakage. Make it a habit to apply leave-in conditioner followed by styling products with heat protection before using those tools.

The values a family develops are the foundation on how children learn, grow and function in the world. Three traditional basic tasks in life have been described as work, play and love.

There are many activities that fall under these categories that define our values. However, we often get caught up in work and other activities and neglect play and love. Often times, we work hard because we believe in our career goals, material things and financial rewards. Yet without a balanced life of incorporating play and having loving relationships our lives become stressful, overwhelming and unsatisfying.

Dressing is one of the ways to reflect our personality, we should care about the way we dress-up and what we are wearing because it will enhance our personality. People can tell who we are and will give their first impression on what we are wearing so we should dress-up using the suitable clothing at the correct time and places.

  As time goes by, the world of fashion will always keep changing. Therefore, we can follow the up-to-date trend in fashion but don’t spend to so much on it because sometimes not every trend of fashion suits a particular person. Besides wearing the latest trend, the most important things is that you are comfortable with what you are wear and the clothing you are wearing suits your body and the function you are attending.
 

kuya: how to get better grades

Do: drag your butt to class!
It feels like no one notice you if you skip class but you’ll have an easier time remembering the material if you go to class. You’ll hear the prof tell vivid anecdotes, which will help you recall boring facts and stats come test time.

Don’t: leave immediately after
Stick around long enough to jot down any questions or assignment in your notes.

Do: buddy up with your lecture
Two words: office hours! You can get one-on –one tutorial with your lecturer and clear up question you couldn’t ask in front of your classmates. It’s also a great way to show how hard you work especially if your grades aren’t at the top of the class.

Don’t: ignore the web
Many colleges have online portals where you’re supposed to view discussion boards or download readings and FYI, lecturer can sometimes track how often you log on!

kuya: after learning french

I still remember the day that teech Airil thought us a little bit of French language. On that day I learned some simple French words, surprisingly it was very fun and I enjoyed it very much. At first I thought it was going to be hard to learn a new language due to the fact we don’t speak or listen to French language but somehow we managed to learned and understand few words and even speak some French. At the end of the session, there was something about learning French that I realized had similarity with learning English which is everyone can easily learn English or any other language if they want to and if they have the spirit and effort to learn English. In my case, to improve my English language I think I should put a lot of effort to myself in learning English. Besides that, just like teech said it’s all about effort and not perfection. haha.........

kuya: first day

I still remember the first day that we all attended our first class, on that particular day I was at the OM faculty searching for my class but I could not find it, then Mimiey approached me and she was also searching the same class, then we decided to search the class together and that is how I met Mimiey. At last, we found the class luckily we asked one of the senior where the class was. I can’t believe that I was late to my first class and the first class was our class which is BEL120. I was a bit scared to enter that class and first thing on my mind was I thought that I was going to be kick out of the class. After that, we were told to write information about our self and other stuff. Then we have to find others people info, this situation was very awkward and my first impression on this class was this class is weird. On that day, I also met Mizah, Wanie and the rest. As you know all my classmates are all girls and they all are lovely friends, kind and pretty and it is a pleasure to get to know them. In the class, I am more closed to the Chupa Chups members which are Mizah, Sis Myra, Mawar, Wanie, Mimiey and Leeya, they are very fun to hang out with.

wanie-the effective ways to learning english

there are may fun and interesting ways of learning english. we can learn english in a variety of ways and not only in classrooms. we can learn english through many types of activities. there are also many materials that we can get gold of from the bookshop, library and the internet to help us learn english. one of he most effective ways of improving our english language proficiency is through reading. we can read various reading materials which are of interest to us. we can read fiction and non-fiction books, newspapers and magazines. through reading, we cn indiresctly learn grammar rules and new words. bisides improving our grammar, we also our vacabulary. then, we can apply the knowledge that we have obtained when we speak adn write.

wanie- my favourite relative

my favourite relative is uncle Sham. he is my father 's youngest brother. out of my father's five siblings, uncle Sham is the youngest. he is also the most fun, lovable an adorable uncle of all. a love uncle Shame because he is rsponsible adn understanding person. as a young child, i used to play with him and once i even broke his watch, but he was very patient with mw and never lost his temper no matter what i did. he is like a friend to em. me is also hte favourite uncle of all his nephews an nieces. although he is very successful, uncle Sham is very humble and modest. he is very respectful to everyone. he is supportive towards his brothers.

wanie- friendship

friendship makes life more meaningful. our lives could otherwise be lonely without friends because friends make good company. everyone needs to socialise as we cannot live alone. however, friendship must not depend on money. friendship that is based on money is not genuine. friends should accept one another based on their trust for each other and not because of their wealth.
friends are hte second most important thing for us next to family. for some, friends area the most important people to them if htey are not close to their family members. to them, their friends are considered their family. so, they would turn to their friends for support and asistance if thy have any problems. friendship is truly a lifeline, fpr without it, life would be lonely and less meaningful.

wanie-what is more important:friendship or money?

it is difficult to decide which one is more important-friendship of money. this is because bothe are very important. however, i think that i can live without money but not without friends. therefore, i will have to say that friendship is more important than money. this is not say that money is not important but me can still live without money. although money can make life comfortable it is only a means to material things. we may still be unhappy even though we have everything that we want. we can have luxury cars, priceless jewelerry and overseas vacations all year rould but we will still be nnhappy if we do not have friends. it is not fun if we have to enjoy our wealth alone.

wanie-celebrity whom i admire

a celebrity whom i admire is Leonardo Dicaprio. the main reason i admire him is because he is one of greatest actors of this generation. he made many good movies and my favourite is 'titanic'. the also acted in the '11th hour', The Aviator', Catch Me If You Can', gangs of New York, and 'the beach'. besides being talented in acting, ge also has a great gersonality and a charitable heart. i am also attracted to his boyish look. at such a young age, he has already accomploshed so much. eh earned many moninations for he Oscar awards and he recently won 'Best Actor' for his super acting. he is fovoured by film directors for his versatile acting . he could play both the part of a cillain or hero exceptionally well.

wanie-my funny memory

I have my funny memory. there was an incident where i was mistaken for someone else. I was with my mother in a supermarket and a boy come up to me and asked me if i would go to his house go play. I did not know who the boy was but he spoke to me as if i was an old friend. so, i played along and got myself a good friend. i told him after a few days that he got the wrong person but we were both happy that he got the wrong person but we were both happy that he made the mistaken as we both made a new friend.

mawar: time to wrap up the magazine!

Now i am trying my best to finish the magazine for BEL since it had been postpone for quiet some time.

I am having the problem now because the material that we had compile can not be print out.

What am i suppose to do????

Hope that i can solve this problem as soon as possible.

I don't want this to happen. 

I don't want teach to be disappointed to chupa chups for second time about this magazine.

Please god, help Mawar. . . . . . .  

 

mawar: we reap what we sow

If you do bad things, bad things happen to you.

If you do good things, good things will happen to you.

Hence,those who takes risk,often reap the rewards.

Through my experience, this situation really happen to me.

My english had improved since i got the confident to speak fluently in english.

I start to have this confident since i have to do so many practices during my BEL.

The most effective practice was the presentations that we have to do every week.

Since that, i had increase my confident level speaking in English.

It proved that my effort was not in vain.

English is one of the important language. For me, English is easy if we have an effort to learn it. Everyone able to gain knowledge about English very well. We must believe to ourself and have contancy to learn as well as u can. The important thing is, we must have sow and we can get a good consequent from that.

English? What we always think about English is, English is hard to learn and most of us are afraid to speak in English becuase they do not have confident to speakwith their friends. Actualy, if we speak continuously since small, we can get benefit and we can improve ourself and have more confidence in it. Besides, in the future we must use a lot of English and we must speak well in order to communicatewith client. So, we reap what we sow.

I'm on my way to settle up my magazine project...Huhu...quite hard but still try my best to make it succeed.

mawar: what i can learn after learning france??

Eventually mawar can learn other foreign language rather than English and my mother language. Mawar think that it is a beneficial to learn more language.

Beside that, Mawar can learn about France culture because, as we concern language indirectly show it's culture. it is so interesting that i learn some France words. For instance, 'Bonjua' which means good day.

When Mawar learn the France language for about two hours, Mawar realize that learning other foreign language is not that difficult. it shows that if we are very focus and work hard, it will be not imposibble to master in any languages. Same goes to English. If Mawar work harder, it is not impossible to master the English.

So, let us learn English in full-hearted and not giving up because when there is a will, there is a way!

mawar: aFter counseling with teach Airil...

I felt more confident to learn about English. Teach had give us support to be confident of ourselves especially in learning English. Hope that i will be more courage to do any English stuff. i do not want to loose this opportunity to learn more in English language. I don't want to cry over spit milk later.

Eventually, learning English will make me more easier to communicate to others. English is a world wide language. So that it will be a credit for ones who mastering in English. I want to be one of them, of course...

Since nowadays English is used in every single course, so it is very compulsory for every student to master in English. It easier to be understand if the student can really understand English. If someone do not understand English, he/she might face a very tough situation to study.

Hope that i will always not give up in study, especially in English. I want to get an A for this important course.

So,after learning this new language,I think that every single thing that we want to learn is easy if we pay attension on it and if we forced ourself to learn and know about it.France is a new languages for me,and when I have learn it from teechI can easily to understand and easy to memorise it if we have been forced and if I cooperate with my classmate and give support to myself to laern it.It shows that every new things is hard but if we study and focus on it,I think we can do better for an example like english languages.For the first time,I think I don't have confident to talk with people,to write and especially on grammar.From that,teech proof that we all can do it no matter how difficult it is but the important thing is we have to forced ourself to do it so from that we can learn more...

After caunselling session with teech Airil .I feel like it gives me many benefit and I already know what my mistakes.I already know how to learn with him because before this i'm very blur with it and I try to catch up what he teach us before.At first me and my classmate didn't really understand and know him well because he's quite weird but after this caunselling session,I already know and I try to change my target is to study hard or else I will failed this paper and I have to repeat it again.Of course we don't want it right,so from now on,I try to learn and study more about this subject.Hope so that I can get high marks for it...

i think frech class with teech airil is verry interesting. i was so excited that i can learn french.. At the end of the class i know that nothing is impossible.. before this i don't know how to speak french but in 2 hours i learn many words in french. i think if we try verry hard and force our self to study or to do something we can get a good result.....

i'm understand when people speak english but i cant speak.. i'm ashamed if my speaking is verry bad... after that sessin, i know that i must try verry hard to improve my english. i can't ashamed with other person. if we want to get good english,we must hardworking...

First of all,thank you so much to everyone who reads my blog...Actually,I'm not so good in writing and I'm so sorry if my English is very bad...But I promise to myself I'll try my best to improve my English languange and my grammar..INSYAALLAH!!!!!!!

I love English so much,even I always listening English songs,watching English movies and reading English magazines...Unfortunately,I'm still not good in writing and speaking very well...Sometimes,I understand what other people speak in English but when I try to speak in English....Oh,My God!!!!! Why I feel it's so difficult for me to speak in English...WHY????????

In my class BEL 120,I feel so proud with my friends...they are Mawar,Aira and Zuryn....It's because they have high level of confident eventhough they are not so good in English but I think,their English is better than other students in class BEL 120...

My weakness is I'm not confident to speak in English and I also have a bad attitude which is lazy and easy to give up when I do something...I do not know what should I do????

Maybe I must change my attitude.I can't be a lazy girl anymore and I have to work harder if I really want to improve my English....

Since our Teech gave a 'Councelling' to us a few days ago,now I realize if I do not help myself,nobody can't help me...So,if I want to be a good person...I have to master the English...

I would like to say thank you to our Teech because he has changed my mind about English...

Now,I hope I'll never give up to learn more about English...I want my parents are proud of me!!!

i'm so happy because my boyfriend want to marry with me.i love him so much.. last week i saw him.. he told me that he want me to be his wife... he say he want to see my family and discuss about our enggagement..i dont know that i must agree or not because i still study.i told him but he said that he want to marry me early. he dont want any boys fall i love with me...i love him so much....he is a romantic responsible,kind and he can do anything for me.... my boyfriend is so cute.. i like see his face.
